MAIDENHEAD FROM THE AIR
HURRY!  EXHIBITION MUST END ON SATURDAY MARCH 12TH!

Only ONE WEEK left for you to come and take a look at our series of fascinating aerial photographs of Maidenhead and the surrounding area, dating from the 1920’s to the present day.  Some of the photographs were taken by Fairey Air Surveys, based at White Waltham for 20 years, while others have been taken by modern drones. You might even be able to spot your house!

2016 RIVER THAMES CRUISES – SEE THE RIVER FROM THE RIVER!

Tickets are now available for this year’s cruises on Thursday 1st and Tuesday 6th September, price £23 (£18 for Friends of the Heritage Centre).  You will enjoy a leisurely 5-hour cruise leaving Maidenhead at 10am, heading upstream through Cookham and Marlow to Temple Lock.  The boat turns around there and we continue back downstream as far as the Waterside at Bray before arriving back in Maidenhead at approx. 3pm.  Along the way there is a live commentary about the history, wildlife, boats, buildings and people of the river – including lots of scandalous stories!  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a great day out on the river.

For bookings please phone 01628 780555 (open 10am – 4pm Tuesday to Saturday)
